W+D shipped its eighth W+D BB820 20K intelligent mail inserter to the US

The W+D BB820 was first introduced to the US market in 2020. Our eight BB820 have gone to four US companies for the direct mail and vote-by-mail markets. In fact, one US customer is now taking delivery of their fourth system after being the first US W+D BB 820 user.

In addition to W+D’s leading market position for handling more complex mail packages with the highest nets on the delivery belt, W+D BB intelligent inserters produced 63 million mail in ballots or about 68% of all mail in ballots requested in the US general election in 2020. This means W+D inserters produced more than 85% of the mail in ballots sold by for profit commercial printers.
