W+D introduces NEW 628 BC - 900 EPM blank-fed machine with new 2/1 servo flexo

After the successful rollout of the new easier-to-operate W+D 628 RC (web) and 628 C (litho convert only) envelope machine platforms which replace the W+D 627 model line, W+D is now announcing a new 628 BC (print+convert) machine configuration. 

The 628 BC is a 900 envelope per minute blank-fed version that now incorporates all-new fast changeover and easier to operate 2/1 servo flexo print units.

The new W+D 628 model platform is about 10% more efficient than the discontinued 627 models in operation but more importantly, offers an entirely new level of operational simplicity as well as waste and energy reductions.
