W+D honored with Pinnacle InterTech Award for its BB1000 all-in-one envelope converter/mail inserter

Earlier this year W+D also won an InkJet Summit best case study analysis award for its innovative BB1000 technology.  The W+D BB1000 will be showcased and running live at this year’s Printing United show in Las Vegas in October.

The Pinnacle InterTech Awards exemplify the most advanced development of technologies that are predicted to have a major impact on the printing industry and is bestowed upon new technologies judged as truly innovative and likely to change the future for printing  companies.  A highly qualified, independent panel of judges deliberated over the technology nominations and concluded that the W+D BB1000 mailing technology deserved this recognition.

The new W+D BB1000 which is an all-in-one direct mail production finishing + inserting system for existing production inkjet press output. The single converting and inserting workflow speeds up the mailer time-to-mailbox while reducing production touchpoints for a completely personalized 1:1 direct mail envelope letter package experience.  The BB1000 produces real envelope mail packages which has been shown in studies to outperform, postcards, wraps, and self-mailers in (RoAS) return on advertising spend.
