First sales of new W+D BB820 20K inserter model for vote-by-mail

Lenexa, KS, USA, May 12, 2020  -  W+D North America announces the sale of the first of two W+D BB820 intelligent inserter models for vote-by-mail and direct mail solutions to Fort Orange Press in Albany, NY.

According to Robert F. Witko, President of Fort Orange Press, “the BB820 enables us to guide New York State and other northeast and Atlantic states to success with a comprehensive vote-by-mail enhanced absentee ballot solution. Our exhaustive research consistently pointed to W+D North America’s BB700 S2 and BB820 inserters as the most robust equipment with the highest integrity.”

The W+D BB820, which is rated for up to 20,000 inserts per hour, will satisfy vote-by-mail’s most demanding requirements. Like its sister BB700 S2, it readily processes unique and non-unique ballots for VBM and absentee voting as well as high end non-profit or for-profit match mail.
