Winkler+Dünnebier reorganizes Sales, Service and Marketing responsibilities worldwide
Overland Park, Mar 3, 2010: Effective March 1, 2010 Dr. Achim Wapniewski has joined the Management Team of Winkler+Dünnebier AG (Neuwied, Germany) and will take responsibility for Sales, Service and Marketing. He brings many years of Sales and Marketing experience, new business segment development in international markets, as well as complex strategic repositioning projects. Most recently he was Head of the Business Unit responsible for sales of machines and systems at KHS AG. Achim earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing, Distribution and Trade from University of Münster (Germany) and acquired his doctorate degree from the University of Dortmund in customer relationship management.
Also, effective March 1, 2010 Andrew Schipke, Area Sales Manager of W+D Machinery Inc. (Overland Park, KS) since 2006, has been appointed to Vice President Sales and Marketing. He brings many years of management experience in the graphic arts and converting markets where he has held previous sales and marketing management positions. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from Miami University, Oxford, OH and a Masters degree in Computer Science from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI. In Andrew’s new position he will be responsible for the W+D Machinery sales and marketing group, as well as the sales and marketing of W+D Langhammer products in North America.
